Mosque and Shops in Muzaffarnagar Declared Enemy Property Due to Link with Pakistan's First PM

The mosque built right in front of the railway station in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh has been declared enemy property after investigation. The mosque and 4 shops were built on the land of the family of Pakistan’s first Prime Minister Liaquat Ali. A complaint about this was made to the then DM Arvind Mallappa Bangari on June 10 by Sanjay Arora, convener of the Rashtriya Hindu Shakti Sangathan.

In this complaint, Sanjay Arora said that mosque and shops have been built by illegally occupying this property. Due to which, the District Officer at that time got it investigated by ADM Revenue Gajendra Kumar, MDA Secretary, City Magistrate, SDM Sadar, CO City and Nagar Palika EO.

This team had sent its investigation report to the Enemy Property Office, Delhi. Due to which a team was sent here by the Enemy Property Agency Office, Government of India for survey, which after hearing both the parties issued the order that this property of Haj is enemy property.

Whereas the parties to this property had claimed that this property was the property of the Wakf Board and said that the rent of the shops registered on Khasra number 930 was being deposited to the Mutawalli of the Wakf Board. Along with this, a letter dated 10 November 1937 was also given by them to the investigation team, on the basis of which they claimed that this property is registered with the Wakf Board.

In the investigation, this property was found to be enemy property. After which the higher authorities now say that notice will be given to the parties of the property and if it is not vacated even after the notice, then it will be vacated under the legal process.

Giving more information about this, City Magistrate Vikas Kashyap said that this was a 930 Khasra number which is of eight biswa and has a building and four shops built in it. An inquiry was conducted in this through an application. After the inquiry, the report has been sent to the Enemy Property Office which is in Delhi. After hearing both the parties, the Enemy Property Authority Office passed an order that this is declared enemy property.
