In a significant step towards strengthening India's defence capabilities and self-reliance, Zen Technologies has launched a series of state-of-the-art remote-controlled weapon and surveillance systems.

Developed in collaboration with AI Turing Technologies, these systems are poised to modernize India's defence sector and align with the nation's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative.

The newly unveiled systems include:
  • Parashu (RCWS – 7.62 x 51 MMG): A versatile remote-controlled weapon system equipped with advanced thermal imaging and anti-drone features. Its adaptable design allows for mounting on various vehicles and ships, making it suitable for diverse combat scenarios and counter-UAV operations.
  • Fanish (Tank Mounted RCWS – 12.7 x 108 HMG): Designed specifically for heavy-duty tanks like the T-72 and T-90, Fanish significantly enhances firepower with its 12.7 mm heavy machine gun. Its thermal targeting capabilities ensure precision even in challenging weather conditions.
  • Sharur (Naval RCWS – 12.7 x 99 HMG): Sharur is engineered to bolster naval defence. Its robust construction and stabilization technology enable accurate targeting of aerial and surface threats up to 2 kilometers away, even in low-visibility environments.
  • Durgam (Artillery Rugged Camera): Built to withstand extreme conditions, Durgam is a rugged surveillance camera system equipped with day/night vision technology. It offers real-time threat detection, making it ideal for high-risk zones and armored vehicles.
Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies, stated that these systems, designed for land, sea, and air platforms, underscore the company's dedication to indigenous defence solutions. He emphasized that these innovations will address the evolving needs of modern warfare while prioritizing the safety of military personnel.

Furthermore, a senior executive noted that Zen Technologies has a proven track record of contributing to India's defence modernization. Their previous systems, such as the Hawkeye and Prahasta, have already demonstrated their effectiveness. This new range further solidifies Zen's position as a key player in both Indian and global defence markets.

These advanced systems are expected to play a crucial role in tackling emerging security challenges in an increasingly complex global defence landscape. Zen Technologies' research and development efforts, conducted at their Ministry of Science and Technology-recognized facility in Hyderabad, demonstrate their unwavering commitment to innovation.
