Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a leading Indian defence manufacturer, is aiming to secure a place for its indigenously developed Amogha-III anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) in the international arms market.

This third-generation, fire-and-forget missile boasts advanced technology and impressive capabilities, making it a competitive option for militaries worldwide.

Developed by BDL's in-house R&D division, the Amogha-III represents a significant advancement in India's missile technology. With a range of 200 to 2500 meters, it can engage a wide array of armored targets. Its tandem warhead is designed to penetrate over 650 mm of armor, even with Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA), ensuring high lethality against modern tanks.

The Amogha-III incorporates a sophisticated dual-mode imaging infrared (IIR) seeker, allowing for all-weather and day/night operation. This, combined with aerodynamic and thrust vector control, provides exceptional accuracy in both top and direct attack modes.

Furthermore, its smokeless, signature-free propulsion system and soft launch capability enhance the missile's stealth features, minimizing the risk of detection during operation.

By showcasing the missile's advanced capabilities and competitive features, BDL seeks to attract international customers and strengthen India's position as a reliable supplier of high-tech defence equipment.
