French aerospace manufacturer, Dassault Aviation, is significantly increasing production of its Rafale fighter jet to meet a growing global demand. The company plans to ramp up production from two jets per month to three, with CEO Eric Trappier indicating potential to reach four per month if necessary.

This announcement comes via French newspaper Le Tribune, which quoted Trappier highlighting the company's turnaround since 2020, when production had fallen to less than one jet per month.

The surge in demand is reflected in Dassault's order book, which currently includes 18 Rafale jets for 2024, following 60 orders in 2023 and a remarkable 92 in 2022.

Adding to this momentum, France is reportedly expecting a major order from the Indian Navy, potentially for 26 Rafale M jets.

This production increase is not only a testament to the Rafale's enduring popularity but also a reflection of the strength of France's aerospace industry. With its expanding order book and production capabilities, Dassault Aviation is positioning itself as a dominant player in the global fighter jet market.

For acting as a sales team for Rafale which was devoid of orders prior to India ordering 36 F-3and now 26 for navy the french need to give a 40% discount or stand loosing the contract to EURO fighter -2000 tranche 5 or F-35/F-15 Ex of America with total transfer of turbofan engine testing and design production and overhaul with IPR rights or loose the massive contracts not only of fighters but SSKS and SSN technologies .
