'Divya Putri': PM Modi Praised Women Behind Agni-V MIRV Program

Sheena Rani, a woman of Malayali descent hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, played a pivotal role in the triumphant launch of India’s Divyastra AGNI 5 ballistic missile.

Serving as the DRDO Mission Director, she orchestrated the mission with precision, bringing immense pride to the nation with the resounding success of Mission Divyastra.

Her exemplary leadership was lauded by none other than the Prime Minister himself, who hailed her as ‘Divya Putri’ during the announcement of the missile test’s success.

The Agni 5 missile, a formidable addition to India’s defense arsenal, boasts a striking range of 5,000 km and carries a payload of approximately 10 warheads.

Developed utilizing state-of-the-art Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology, this advanced missile is designed to traverse from Earth to space and back again, dispersing into multiple warheads upon re-entry to precisely strike designated targets.

By achieving this milestone, India firmly asserts its strategic capabilities, particularly in response to regional dynamics, notably vis-à-vis China.

The successful deployment of the Agni 5 positions India among the elite group of nations comprising the United States, Russia, China, Britain, and France, known for their proficiency in missile technology and defense prowess.

Congratulations to Divya Putri Sheena Rani for managing the successful development of Divya Astra MIRVed Ballistic Missile very much needed by India/Bharat. Well done.
Wish you good health, happiness and long life.

India shouldn't look or care at the gender of the scientists who design and develop these advanced and critical missiles but should focus more on developing them with the knowledge of intercepting them. We needed to develop a MIRV capable multiple nuclear missile inside as it increases our lethality and fire power that we can use on China.

Afterwards we should also look at developing an even longer range MIRV capable missile with at least a 10000km range. But we need to focus on developing our submarine launched MIRV capable nuclear missiles as we need a short range missile that can be used against Pakistan and a long range missile to use against China.
