Highlighting the bond between the Army and locals, medical and veterinary camps will support remote villages. The commemoration concludes with the inauguration of the Walong War Memorial on November 14, 2024, featuring a wreath-laying ceremony, evocative battle narrations, and traditional local dance performances.

Infrastructure projects that enhance connectivity and security will also be launched. Special ceremonies will honor war heroes’ families and veterans, underscoring the Army’s commitment to acknowledging all involved in the battle’s legacy.

This month-long tribute not only honors past valor but also aims to inspire future generations to emulate the values of service and sacrifice.
