Space technology is a crucial and strategic necessity and we need to master it so we can launch satellites or explorers to find resources there. If we don't then we have to pay even more money to get foreign countries to launch our satellites. Military projects take time if we do it indigenously and progress is being made.
 
This is a very important technology and capability to develop as we need to explore and run tests on the moons materials. We need to find out the different types of resources it has and where on the moon it is.
