Kerala Innovator Patents Hand-Portable 'Kamikaze' Drone

Kerala-based innovator C.J. Varghese has made waves in the defence sector with his latest invention: a hand-portable "Kamikaze" drone.

Varghese, who already holds an impressive six patents, has secured yet another from the Patent Office of the Government of India for this cutting-edge device.

The drone's unique design, resembling a capsule or smart grenade, features foldable and deployable mechanisms that offer a novel approach within drone technology.

Varghese's "Track and Kill Suicide Drone" promises a significant change in military operations. He maintains that this drone can be effectively operated by infantrymen, a major shift from traditional drone control methods.

It boasts a quad-propeller design for flight and a built-in camera for guidance and terrain analysis.

This hand-portable Kamikaze drone highlights the unceasing drive for defence innovation. Its small size and potential versatility make it a potential asset for ground forces.

The drone's ability to quickly deploy and engage targets could add a new layer of precision and adaptability to combat operations.

This will enable every soldier to have a personal guided missile lol. A squad can have a 2 man carry and operate multiple of these.

Love thes new developments, Bhartiya minds should be unleased for all round development.

This is a very quick, easy and cheap way for our soldiers to deploy this kamikaze drone as it wouldn't require a lot of training. But it's not clear that once the drone is launched then does it require a pilot to fly and control it or will it automatically seek out and target any drones? It also doesn't tell us the maximum range or altitude either? Hopefully our military will purchase these anti drones devices but they should definitely export this product to countries that have a limited budget.

While enhancing firepower, ensuring responsible use and preventing proliferation are paramount for global security and stability.
