Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (DP), MoD visited HAL facilities in Bengaluru today. He was briefed on the company’s products & projects by Dr DK Sunil, CMD, HAL in the presence of Directors, CEOs & senior leaders. He visited Aircraft, LCA Tejas, Helicopter & Aerospace Divisions.
He also visited the Iron Bird Facility at Aircraft Research & Design Centre (ARDC), Jaguar simulator at Mission & Combat Systems Research & Design Centre (MCSRDC), Shakti Assembly Shop & Adour Mk-811 engine test bed at Engine Division.
He witnessed the engine ground run of Hindustan Turbo Shaft Engine 1200 at Aero Engine Research & Design Centre (AERDC) and interacted with young HAL officers at an event at HAL Management Academy. He congratulated HAL on receiving the Maharatna status and called upon HAL to innovate and meet the expectations of the government and the customers.
