Amid a surge in terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, a top source has revealed alarming details about Pakistan's financial support to terrorists, the reactivation of terror camps across the border, and the use of sophisticated weaponry. This disclosure comes in the wake of two deadly attacks in the region, resulting in the deaths of nine Indian Army personnel.

On Tuesday, July 16, four army personnel, including an officer, lost their lives in a fierce gunfight with heavily armed terrorists in Doda district. This tragic incident occurred just a week after another ambush in the Machedi forest belt in Kathua district, where five soldiers were killed and several others injured.

Pakistan's Financial and Logistical Support

Sources indicate that Pakistan is providing substantial financial incentives to terrorists, with each group receiving at least Rs 1 lakh upon infiltration into India.

These terrorists, often former members of Pakistan's Special Service Group (SSG) or mercenaries, are equipped with high-end weaponry such as M4 rifles and Chinese armor-piercing bullets. Additionally, local guides assisting them are paid between Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000.

Communication methods used by these terrorists include Samsung phones and Y SMS transmitted through Icom radio sets. Over Ground Workers (OGWs) providing food and logistical support within India are also compensated with Rs 5,000-6,000.

Reactivated Terror Camps and Financial Incentives

Pakistan has reportedly reactivated several terror camps across the border, where terrorists receive training with the assistance of the Pakistani army. These camps are identified as Nikial, Jandrut, Khuretta, Kotli, Samani, Abdul bin Masood, Saman, and Kot Kotera.

Furthermore, the families of these terrorists are being provided with financial support, indicating a concerted effort by Pakistan to fuel the violence in Kashmir. This revelation comes amidst reports that Pakistan, having failed to radicalize the local youth, is now resorting to monetary enticements to recruit terrorists.

India's Response and Security Measures

In response to the increased infiltration attempts, the Border Security Force (BSF) is conducting thorough inspections of fences and tunnels along the international border and other potential routes used by terrorists.

The escalating terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, fueled by Pakistan's financial and logistical support, raise serious concerns about regional security. The Indian security forces are actively responding to the threat, but the situation remains volatile and demands continued vigilance.
