Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) has developed India's first military-grade spy satellite, with a spatial resolution of 0.5 meters. The satellite, developed in collaboration with Latin American company Satellogic, is now ready for launch on a SpaceX rocket.

The partnership demonstrates India's commitment to leveraging global expertise and promoting indigenous innovation in space exploration and surveillance.

TASL's Bengaluru facility can manufacture up to 25 low Earth orbit satellites annually, enhancing India's surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. The company is also establishing a ground control center to manage India's satellite network.

In 2020, General MM Naravane asked for six (6) such ISR spy satellites for just for LAC to monitor criminal chinese ccp and pla movements.
No deliveries so far except one high resolution mapping satellite whose benefits are unknown yet.

ISRO must develop and launch such satellites on a priority basis.
ISRO must put manned space on backburner until armed forces has all of these capabilities.

Great news.. We must continue our relentless pursuit with even more determination and R&D to protect and serve our nation.

They need technologies to protect their satellites and deny enemy satellites function in our territories.

These days some countries have 0.1 meter resolution. TASL better work on that also.
