After a massive & unprecedented months-long military build-up in the Caribbean Sea, Trump went for the kill yesterday and ultimately gave the green light to major, deep airstrikes inside the country followed by a carefully orchestrated special forces mission to capture its leftist leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife alive who are to be tried in New York courts on drugs trafficking charges. The military op had clearly been in the offing, was palpable to most military observers and industry analysts and was just a matter of time as the Venezuelan military is no match for the U.S. military might & muscle.

Nations are not just political entities as, they, too, are comprised of people with distinct & unique national identities & psyche.
So, when the world’s most powerful nation does something in a multipolar world which is incongruent with its traditional, self-proclaimed core values and is already being done by the proverbial geopolitical villain, it is only bound to create a profound ripple effect throughout the geopolitical ocean, not just on the surface but also deep underneath it with a huge & lasting impact in an age which is neither meant for war nor imperialism...
