Air Canada Expands Service to India, Launches Non-Stop Toronto-Mumbai Flights

Air Canada is significantly increasing its flight service to India this winter, including the launch of a new non-stop route between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM). The airline announced that it will operate 25 weekly flights to India, a notable increase from the 19 weekly flights offered last winter.

The highly anticipated Toronto-Mumbai flights will commence on October 27, 2024, and will operate four times a week. This route will be the only non-stop flight connecting the two major cities, providing a convenient and efficient travel option for passengers.

In addition to the new Mumbai service, Air Canada is also enhancing its existing routes. Flights between Montreal and Delhi will be increased to daily service, while Calgary will see the introduction of daily seasonal flights to Delhi via London. Passengers from Vancouver will also have the option to connect to Delhi through London.

Air Canada's decision to expand its India operations is expected to have a positive impact on the Canadian economy, boosting tourism and trade relations with India.
