China May Placed Dummy Models of J-11 Jets in Xinjiang Airbase to Showcase Fake High-Altitude Capabilities: Satellite Imagery Reveals

Recent satellite imagery has exposed a curious situation at the Hotan Airbase in Xinjiang, China. J-11 fighter jets stationed there appear to have remained stationary for at least three years, raising questions about their authenticity and China's military intentions.

The images, shared by independent cybersecurity researcher Shiv Cybersurg, show the jets have not moved since 2021 and 2022, leading to speculation that they might be dummies strategically placed to project a false image of China's capability to operate advanced fighter jets from high-altitude bases.

While some experts suggest the jets are mere decoys, others argue that even dummy aircraft take up valuable space that could otherwise be used for operational aircraft.

Hotan's proximity to Eastern Ladakh, a flashpoint in the ongoing India-China border dispute, makes the presence of these jets particularly concerning. The revelation comes at a time of heightened tensions between the two nations, further adding to the intrigue.

While the Chinese military's plans for these J-11s remain unclear, the satellite imagery has certainly sparked debate and speculation. It serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges in deciphering China's military capabilities and intentions, and underscores the importance of continued vigilance in the region.

Criminal chinese are full of bluster and hollowness, and less on real armaments that really works and especially full of chocolate high school sepoys.
No worries, guys.

It's possible China uses dummies and their production isn't quite so impressive as it seems (otherwise why would they need dummies, this should be a standard mass produced jet deployment according to how many they seem to be producing)

But be that as it may, we're still not remotely in any position to call their bluff either. Always better to overestimate a potential foe than under.

They could possibly also be used to waste Indian munitions in a future conflict just as empty missile silos are used to waste enemy missile warheads.

Good job Shiv ji. China pretty much has no upper hand in Xinjiang and Tibet regions. They are really good at posturing. Call their bluff out and they will chicken. We need to arm the locals, drone drop weapons/comms. A war in China's east is coming - they painted themselves into the corner. When it does, we need to activate the locals in E.Turkestan, retake our territories in Aksai Chin and help the Tibetan locals take back their country.

There is more possibility of them getting grounded due to quality issue and Chinese are not bothered to fix it than them being a dummy

For their reputation, There is more possibility of them getting grounded due to quality issue and Chinese are not bothered to fix it than them being a dummy

These photos are snapshots. We are not continuously observing these planes. There is always a fixed place where the plane is parked. So there is a high possibility that after completing their sortie the planes are parked at the same place and these pics were taken when these planes were parked. These satellite images will not show change in position within a foot or so.

I am sure IAF knows what exactly is the truth and has prepared accordingly.

How ppl get access to these pics can anyone tell is there a website or it is leaked or published by defence force only
