Crashed Israeli Missiles in Iraq Fuel Speculation of Covert Airstrike Against Iran

The discovery of crashed Israeli-made Rafael Sparrow Blue missiles in Iraq has ignited a flurry of speculation regarding a potential clandestine airstrike targeting Iran. The presence of these advanced air-launched ballistic missiles suggests Israeli involvement in a significant yet unconfirmed military operation within the region.

The Rafael Sparrow Blue is primarily used as a target missile for testing anti-ballistic missile systems. Its unexpected appearance in Iraq raises the possibility that these missiles were deployed for offensive purposes.

While some reports posit that Israeli F-16I Sufa fighter jets may have launched the missiles, experts note that these aircraft are not typically configured to carry ballistic weaponry. F-15s, however, have been known to carry these types of missiles.

Images of the missile debris found in the Al-Aziziya area of Iraq's Wasit Governorate hint at a potentially complex operation with far-reaching consequences. The precise reasons behind the missiles' presence in Iraq remain unclear, adding to the intrigue surrounding this developing story.

Ongoing Investigation

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, but both Israeli and Iranian officials have so far declined to comment on the matter.

The discovery highlights the intricate web of covert military activities and proxy conflicts occurring throughout the often-volatile Middle East.

Probably Israelis wanted to send a message, that they can successfully target Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure if need be.These missiles are training ones,so they were inert aka without warheads,so even if they would have hit any targets, there would not have been any loud explosion and destruction to push the Iranians in responding again.

Its unclear who launched what type of missiles and attacks at who but there seems to be no damages on both sides.
