The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) marked six decades of providing scientific counsel to the Indian Air Force (IAF) with a seminar focused on Knowledge Management on June 7th, 2024.
Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Deputy Chief of Air Staff, served as the chief guest, acknowledging DRDO's significant contributions to national security. He also engaged in dialogues concerning the preservation and transfer of tacit knowledge – the practical, experiential expertise that is often challenging to codify – within the defense sector.
This seminar emphasized the importance of knowledge management within DRDO and the broader Indian defense establishment. By cultivating collaboration and knowledge sharing, DRDO aims to ensure the continued transmission of its expertise to future generations of IAF personnel.
