Germany Negotiating with India for Ammunition Transfer to Ukraine through Intermediaries

A report from Lenta.ru claims that Germany and India are in negotiations over the acquisition of ammunition from the latter and its subsequent transfer through middlemen to the Ukrainian armed forces. According to Der Spiegel, which is cited in the story, India is reluctant to publicly sell its munitions to Ukraine because of its cordial ties with Russia.

Regarding the report, the German government has remained silent.

India has called for a diplomatic settlement and an end to the conflict in the Russia-Ukraine war while maintaining a neutral position. But India has also sent food and medical supplies to Ukraine as humanitarian help.

It's uncertain if Germany will be able to obtain ammunition from India by way of middlemen. India might be hesitant to provide arms to any nation that is engaged in conflicts. Furthermore, it's uncertain if India can export significant amounts of ammunition.

The conflict in Ukraine has caused a shortage of ammunition and weaponry worldwide. Numerous nations have been giving Ukraine military support, which has reduced their own supply. One nation that has been impacted by the scarcity is Germany.

The German government is looking into a number of options, including importing weapons from other nations, to restock its arsenal. Still, Germany will probably have trouble getting the weaponry it requires.

No matter what India isn't going to sell any weapons directly or indirectly to the war in the Ukraine. Currently India is getting the cheapest amount of crude oil from Russia at below market rates and India gets nothing from Germany other than a one time deal and the profits will be lower than the continuous benefit that we get from below the market price of oil we get.

First, Chhappan must show b@lls and bring back the Indian child which the Germans have kidnapped and put in a foster home. It seems that the Germans have placed many such kids in the homes of p€d0files.
So you do not have b@lls & expect others to do it?

No need to come under Germany's pressure & why should we help Ukraine in war we have not given any weapons to Russia so no question arises giving it to Ukraine who had voted against India for sanctions after nuclear testing yes if any help to be given it should be medical or humatarian help only

It is time to repay Germans in the same coin. Tell the Germans that we are concerned with Russian soldiers human rights, so we won't sell you ammunition just like Germany refused to sell rifles to Maharashtra govt citing human rights violation.

20,000 Indians forced by Russia to fight against Ukraine. And IMO, sell ammunition to Russia too. If they want T72/T90, Mig 29, BMP1/2 sell it to them. We need to clean house to make space for newer equipment.

Germans will buy it from some other nation. Lose the Arrogance Pal. Why don't we have an Desi alternate to the Heckler & Koch MP7? Focus on that rather then blaming the Germans.
