India's Ministry of Defence (MoD), through its Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) ADITI Edition 1.0 initiative, is challenging Indian startups to spearhead the development of a sophisticated defense system for the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Swarm drones are the future killers and it can cripple the entire Air Force with a well coordinated and planned attack. We need swarm drones that are cheaply designed and manufactured in India and along with using AI we should program them to attack radar installations, SAM defence system, jets or helicopters parked in the open, communication and internet facilities and any other key targets.

India has started inducting swarm drones but we need to develop a indigenous defence system that can be used against those swarm drones. We can't use any CIWS or SAM because we wouldn't be able to destroy all of them or in a significant amount to provide complete protection. India needs to start designing and developing our own 100% High power microwaves which will be ideal in destroying swarm drones. We should install them at key frontline bases and sensitive facilities so we have adequate protection from swarm drones.
