INSV Tarini, Crewed by Indian Navy's All-Female Team, Reaches New Zealand After a 28-Day, 6,500 km Voyage from Australia

Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini, undertaking a global circumnavigation expedition, reached Lyttelton Harbor on Sunday after covering a distance of about 6,500 km from Fremantle, Australia in 28 days, according to an Indian Navy statement.

INSV Tarini departed from Fremantle, Australia on November 24 for Lyttelton, New Zealand for the second phase of the NSP-II expedition. According to a statement from the Ministry of Defence, Tarini and her intrepid crew were seen off by cheering crowds for safe passage to Lyttelton.
