Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that no dialogue will be held with Pakistan until terrorism ends. “There is no possibility of talks with Pakistan until terrorism completely ends,” Shah said addressing a public rally in Nowshera Constituency in support of party candidate Ravinder Raina for the Phase-2 of Jammu and Kashmir Polls to be held on September 25.

The BJP regime under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured safety and peace along the border. “There is no need for bunkers in the border areas and if Pakistan dares to fire even a single bullet, we will give them a befitting reply to them,” said Shah.

Shah further criticized the previous PDP, National Conference, and Congress-led governments for depriving the people of Jammu and Kashmir of their rights and creating unrest in the region. “These three political parties are also advocating for reopening the cross LOC trade to bring terrorism back into Jammu and Kashmir, but we will never allow it to happen,” said the Home Minister.

Shah said that the abrogation of Article 370 has marked a new era of peace, development, and progress in Jammu and Kashmir, adding, “Article 370 abrogation has ended the terrorism in the region and leaders like Farooq Abdullah want to bring it back but I want to make it clear that no power can now bring back the Article 370 to the Jammu and Kashmir.”

He urged the people to vote for BJP candidates in the upcoming elections promising a new dawn of peace, progress, and prosperity for Jammu and Kashmir. Highlighting the BJP’s development vision for Jammu and Kashmir, Shah congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the successful completion of the first phase of polling in the ongoing elections and expressed confidence in a BJP victory.
