This is odd because it is basically a SAM but using a drone instead of a missile. The problem is that a drone might not be quick enough to intercept a fast missile like some cruise, hypersonic and ballistic missiles which are very fast. Also it's unclear if this drone will have to have a direct kinetic hit or explode shrapnel as it approaches the missile to destroy the threat but I think it would of been a better SAM defence system by using missiles to intercept missiles rather than using drones.

It is a drone that an be used as Target practice by missiles and fighters. It can also fool enemy radar think real fighter or armed drone has intruded resulting launching precious SAM against it.
