Killer of Sarabjit Singh Shot Dead in Lahore

Lahore, Pakistan – Amir Sarfaraz Tamba, one of the men accused of murdering Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh in 2013 and an associate of terror group leader Hafiz Saeed, was killed Sunday in a targeted attack by unidentified gunmen.

The attack occurred at Tamba's residence in the Sanant Nagar neighborhood of Lahore. Motorcycle-borne assailants shot Tamba multiple times before fleeing the scene. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case against the unknown assailants based on a complaint by Tamba's brother, Junaid Sarfraz.

Singh, an Indian farmer, was convicted on espionage and terrorism charges in Pakistan in 1990. He was attacked by Tamba and another inmate in 2013 while imprisoned at Kot Lakhpat jail, ultimately dying of his injuries. Singh's family has always asserted that he was mistakenly identified and accidentally crossed the India-Pakistan border.

Pakistani police are investigating the murder, with Inspector General Police Dr. Usman Anwar of Punjab province stating that it's too early to definitively link the killing to anti-state actors.

Tamba was a notorious figure in Lahore's underworld, reputed as "Lahore ka asli don" and involved in criminal activities including property disputes and drug trafficking. His role in Singh's murder was initially investigated by a judicial commission, though a trial court later acquitted him and his accomplice in 2018 due to a lack of evidence.

Three facts to be noted , you can do any crime in Pakistani jail and if you kill an Indian prisoner then you can walk Scot free.
The Pakistani establishment actually supports such people.
When such criminals who are contract killers or button men get killed as they have multiple enemies than the Pakistani establishment can conveniently blame India as they feel that is a good reason to escape their responsibility of protecting such button men.

it will help modiji in election.
How? Common men don't care about such things. Common man care about the costly Gas cylinder, petrol and diesel prices, high tool taxes, GST on food grain and pulses, high unemployment rates, high telecom tariffs.

Indeed. Common man cares about the lower inflation rates, great road infrastructure, amazing GDP growth, easy medicines and treatment under various schemes, cheap telecom tariffs, low cost of food grains.

Add less corruption and better education opportunities.

I don’t agree that either of these affect the common man. Nor do I agree that B J P is a huge success in either. Corruption has not reduced but become more organized, though the direct impact on common man surely has gone down in many areas.
