Arakkonam, India – The Indian Naval Station Rajali (INSRajali) under the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) is preparing to host a US Navy P-8A Poseidon aircraft as part of Exercise Tiger Triumph 24.
This collaborative exercise represents a deepening partnership between the Indian and US Navies, with a primary focus on enhancing interoperability during Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) missions in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).
The US Navy's P-8A Poseidon, a multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft, brings advanced surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities to Tiger Triumph 24. Its participation is crucial for the realistic simulation of HADR scenarios and the practicing of coordinated responses between the two nations.
