UK, India to Strengthen Partnership with Pacific Ocean Naval Exercises

UK, India to Strengthen Partnership with Pacific Ocean Naval Exercises

The naval partnership between the United Kingdom and India is deepening, with the nations announcing plans to conduct joint exercises in the Pacific Ocean in 2025. This major military exercise signals a strengthening strategic alignment between the two countries.

The announcement comes on the heels of the UK's decision to deploy its Littoral Response Group (LRG) to the Indian Ocean region in 2024. The LRG deployment paves the way for the 2025 exercise, which will feature the highly capable UK Carrier Strike Group (CSG) alongside the Indian Navy.

This Pacific Ocean exercise highlights a shared commitment to regional stability. Both the UK and India seek to maintain a secure maritime environment in the face of growing challenges in the region.

The joint exercise sends a strong message about their combined capabilities and their dedication to upholding the principle of freedom of navigation.

All for marketing Typhoon, hope they show the sprit in supporting India on POK and G&B.
