Hyderabad-based Zen Technologies, a leading provider of military training and anti-drone solutions, has been awarded a patent in India for its innovative mine detection system.
The system utilizes GPS/GIS technology to precisely map the location of mines, facilitating safe and efficient retrieval.
The patented system is designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, operating in temperatures from -25°C to 45°C and at altitudes up to 15,000 feet.
Its user-friendly interface and handheld devices enable soldiers to safely lay and retrieve mines, even in low-light conditions. Importantly, the system integrates seamlessly with existing mine-laying procedures, minimizing the need for additional training.
This patent, the 16th awarded to Zen Technologies in 2024, underscores the company's dedication to innovation and its pivotal role in bolstering India's defence capabilities.
