Jigs and fixtures are just some high tolerance welded steel structures. Makes it sound something so high tech

First 2 aircrafts in 2036
It will be outdated before even born.

Turkey/South Korea will have 5th Gen Fighter by then produced and in service and India will be "developing, gearing"
South Korea and turkey have imported their jet from the parts and technology they bought from the USA and have developed little themselves. India is developing a brand new design and technology by itself for the AMCA jets.

Who gives fukkk
Point is they have done it and improve what they have achieved

This is a critical necessity that we need to design and develop as quick as possible. It's good that they are already placing orders for any equipment, parts, components and technology they can before full production takes place. As soon as they clear the F414 engine deal then they can manufacture a set of prototype.

The point is that they are manufacturing a much inferior jet by a licensed copy of the F35 jet. Difference is that we are developing it ourselves to be truly self reliant.

HAL should make 126 Tejas-AF-MK-II, 126 AF-MK-II with internal weapon bay and 145 twin engine ORCA ! Twin engine ORCA should also be used as test bed for GTRE Kaveri (75-80 KN ) engine !
