Lol bro...It's Dhanush which army wants to push out in its latest RFI.

Because they want foreign ATHOS over many Indian options, they reaffirmed their reputation of being Import army(IA).

Such is the unpreparedness of our army in this era of hybrid wars, sadly, that when our parliament was attacked they took months to mobilize. Same happened after 26/11.

Now they are not even considered for escalating in case of events such as Balakot, etc.

Soldiers are used as domestic help in houses of officers. Army vehicles are used as school buses for children of officers.

This all, though normalised in India, would be unimaginable in any modern war agile army. Stuck in 1947 era mentality while facing 21 century challenges.

They want foreign maal, but forget that sanctions are also part of warfare. And sanctions are not even something we haven't faced before. It's not even something we may not face again. In reverse, if we continue independent foreign policy and continue to develop, it's likely we will face them again.
Then we will read news again like how our cryo engines were delayed as we could not buy from Russia due to sanctions, etc.

But who can stand against this chandigarh lobby.

And I say this as a very nationalist citizen.

Army has already moved a tender for 20 ton GCVs. These are not needed for literally any other gun but for ATAGS. So it’s confirmed that ATAGS will be procured and not Athos.

And that my friend, is the problem. Instead of punishing and jailing every single individual involved in the treasonous project called ATAGS, they are being rewarded by procuring guns at a much higher cost. DRDO should have been punished for making this gun.

Now our army has to spend extra money, and thus have to procure less guns than the original requirement. This will affect their operational capabilities. And all this was done intentionally by DRDo. DRDO intentionally sabotaged Indian army. They intentionally made a gun that doesn’t meet the requirements of the army. And MoD is now left with only 2 options- either accept that hundreds of crores went down the drain and punish DRDO or force IA to buy these guns at a much higher price and reward DRDO for this crime. Unfortunately they chose the latter.
