Assam Rifles Opens First-Ever Ex-Servicemen Support Center in Maharashtra


Nashik, Maharashtra – In a historic step to support India's military veterans, Lieutenant General PC Nair, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, PhD, Director General of Assam Rifles, has inaugurated the state's first-ever Assam Rifles Ex-Servicemen Association (ARESA) center. The center, located in Nashik, will offer crucial support services to over a thousand veterans from Maharashtra and neighboring areas.

The ARESA center's launch coincides with a large Ex-Servicemen rally organized by Assam Rifles in Nashik. This center will provide former Assam Rifles personnel with comprehensive welfare services such as pension support, healthcare access, vocational training, and counseling. This dedicated facility reaffirms Assam Rifles' strong commitment to its veterans.

During the inauguration ceremony, Lieutenant General PC Nair emphasized the importance of the ARESA center in serving as a beacon of hope and assistance for veterans, reaffirming Assam Rifles’ unwavering commitment to their welfare.
