AvGarde Systems, a promising startup hailing from Assam, has secured a decisive victory in the Dream 4.0 contest.

The challenge centered on developing cutting-edge solutions to neutralize threats posed by both individual drones and coordinated drone swarms.

AvGarde's triumph underscores India's accelerating advancements in the field of domestic defence technology.

Their winning entry, dubbed "DroneSafe," is a sophisticated, AI-powered counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS).

DroneSafe is specifically designed to combat the growing challenge of malicious drone and UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) utilization.

Its core capabilities include:

• Detection: DroneSafe leverages advanced AI algorithms to accurately detect and pinpoint the location of drones and UAVs within its range.
• Classification: The system's capabilities extend beyond detection, intelligently classifying the detected aerial objects to assess their potential danger.
• Mitigation: Upon identifying a threat, DroneSafe initiates appropriate countermeasures to neutralize the drone or UAV.
• Reporting: To facilitate informed security decisions, the system generates detailed reports on detected aerial threats.

AvGarde Systems further showcased its innovative prowess with two additional solutions:

• DIWAR: An all-band GPS jammer designed to disrupt the navigation systems of drones, effectively hindering their flight and preventing them from reaching intended targets.
• BirdsEye: An intelligent Bird Detection and Monitoring Radar (BDMR) with dual functionality. Primarily, BirdsEye increases aviation safety by issuing early warnings of bird activity near airports, mitigating the risk of bird-aircraft strike hazards (BASH). Additionally, BirdsEye can detect and monitor drone threats.

well, the system is already real lol. What else do you mean by reality?

This is good progress and it will definitely help to intercept drones which are becoming a major threat. We need to quickly develop a integrated counter drone system along the border which gives us a long range interception range by jamming it but also use a hard kill option like the upgraded L70 gun which automatically tracks the target and predicts the direction the drone will fly at which gives the shooter a deadly accurate gun. These guns can also be used to target swarms drones as it explodes the shrapnel in the air which takes out many drones in the vicinity.
