A leadership dispute surrounding the recent appointment of Dr. Jaiteerth R. Joshi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has landed the organization in legal trouble at the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) in Hyderabad.
The controversy erupted when Dr. Sivasubramanyam Nambi Naidu, a senior scientist at BrahMos Aerospace, challenged Dr. Joshi's appointment, claiming that the selection process overlooked his seniority and experience. Dr. Naidu filed a petition with the CAT on November 19, naming both the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Dr. Joshi as respondents.
