Indian Navy Seizes Nearly a Ton of Drugs in Arabian Sea Raid

In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Indian Naval stealth warship INS Talwar intercepted a suspicious vessel in the Arabian Sea on Monday. Specialist boarding teams and elite MARCOs commandos seized 940 kilograms of contraband narcotics from the dhow.

The confiscated drugs are being disposed of according to Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) operating procedures. This action underscores India's role as a critical partner in the fight against regional drug trafficking.

The Indian Navy maintains an unwavering commitment to combating drug smuggling. By dismantling these illicit networks, the Navy contributes to regional stability and helps create a drug-free environment for neighboring countries.

The Indian Navy continues to play a vital role in protecting maritime security. Operation Crimson Barracuda demonstrates the Navy's proactive stance in ensuring a safe and secure regional maritime domain.
