Ghaziabad, India – A high-level delegation from Panama, led by prominent economist Dr. Porfirio Ellis Bonilla, visited the Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Ghaziabad unit yesterday. The visit aimed to explore BEL's diverse capabilities in the defence and electronics sectors.
Ms. Rashmi Kathuria, General Manager & Unit Head of BEL-Ghaziabad, along with the Integrated Management Development (IMD) team, warmly received the delegation. They provided a comprehensive overview of BEL's business segments and product portfolio, showcasing the company's expertise in radar systems, communication equipment, electronic warfare systems, and more.
A key highlight of the visit was the demonstration of the BFSR-SR radar, a state-of-the-art, man-portable surveillance and acquisition system. This advanced radar is capable of detecting various moving targets, making it a valuable asset for border security and surveillance applications. The Panamanian delegation expressed significant interest in this technology, recognizing its potential to enhance their country's defence capabilities.
