This advanced system is designed to provide comprehensive situational awareness and help military commanders formulate effective strategies.
The core of the Optonic Shield is a smart, network-operated tracking system that uses electro-optical technology. It features multi-spectral sensors that can detect and follow targets with high precision, day or night. The system is enhanced with intelligent software that assists personnel in making rapid and accurate decisions when a threat is identified.
Furthermore, its integrated battlefield management system allows for seamless communication and coordination between various defence units on the ground and in the air.
To counter a wide array of dangers, including drones, low-flying aircraft, and missiles, the shield employs a multi-layered defence strategy. It creates a protective dome, or "hemispherical coverage," over a designated area using wide-angle electro-optical payloads.
The system detects incoming threats through advanced laser warning receivers and shares real-time intelligence across long distances via secure satellite data links.
In addition to integrating with existing radar and electronic warfare systems, a key feature is a high-power laser dazzler, a non-lethal weapon designed to blind or disable the optical sensors and guidance systems of enemy threats.
