During a farewell visit to the Western Naval Command (WNC) in Mumbai, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar interacted with personnel and specifically commended the elite Marine Commandos (MARCOS) for their exceptional work in various operations.
As part of the visit, Admiral Kumar engaged in open discussions with officers, sailors, and defense civilians. Topics included human resources, operations, and administration. The discussions also centered on fostering pride in the Indian Navy's heritage and working towards the goal of achieving a self-reliant ('Aatmanirbhar') Indian Navy by 2047.
Outstation personnel participated in the interactions via video conferencing.
