Germany Negotiating with India for Ammunition Transfer to Ukraine through Intermediaries

A report from Lenta.ru claims that Germany and India are in negotiations over the acquisition of ammunition from the latter and its subsequent transfer through middlemen to the Ukrainian armed forces. According to Der Spiegel, which is cited in the story, India is reluctant to publicly sell its munitions to Ukraine because of its cordial ties with Russia.

Regarding the report, the German government has remained silent.

India has called for a diplomatic settlement and an end to the conflict in the Russia-Ukraine war while maintaining a neutral position. But India has also sent food and medical supplies to Ukraine as humanitarian help.

It's uncertain if Germany will be able to obtain ammunition from India by way of middlemen. India might be hesitant to provide arms to any nation that is engaged in conflicts. Furthermore, it's uncertain if India can export significant amounts of ammunition.

The conflict in Ukraine has caused a shortage of ammunition and weaponry worldwide. Numerous nations have been giving Ukraine military support, which has reduced their own supply. One nation that has been impacted by the scarcity is Germany.

The German government is looking into a number of options, including importing weapons from other nations, to restock its arsenal. Still, Germany will probably have trouble getting the weaponry it requires.

No need of neutrality. Had Russia maintained neutrality in India-Pakistan war, our victories would have required many more lives.

Russia is worth more than Germany. India should resist!West can never be dependable ally.

Absolutely no.. India will loose its credibility and a friend.. also siding wirh these 2 faced hypocratic countries in a conflict will be a disgrace.

No need to supply weapons to Germany this country always hurt new delhi, last time they caught our R&AW agent and supported Pakistan many time

Strictly no, we should never supply any ammunition which might be used against Russia. And Germans are not worth supporting, you never know when they change their stance against you, most unreliable .

Germany is a vassal state. This puppy does what its Masters command. If you know what I mean.

Before you discuss with them anything related to ammunition supply; ask them about Arjun tank engine and engine for Zorawar tank, which they were supposed to supply but put it on hold.

India should not sell any weapons that may end up in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, especially to countries like Germany and Sweden, who routinely deny India arms, parts, technology due to their woke, leftist and anti-war policies.

Also, its foreign minister made negative comments for India. They cannot go on making any comments and expect India to comply to any of their demands.

We should help Ukraine as that would deter China from emulating Russia like shenanigans in India's teritories on filmsy ground like Russia is claiming loads of BS in Ukraine. Moreover, we can prove a dependable power in international affairs to our future and curent partners and friends. Also, Russia cant be trusted since her No Limit Partnership with commie CCP thugs. Fvck Russia and China anyway

First, Chhappan must show b@lls and bring back the Indian child which the Germans have kidnapped and put in a foster home. It seems that the Germans have placed many such kids in the homes of p€d0files.

No matter what India isn't going to sell any weapons directly or indirectly to the war in the Ukraine. Currently India is getting the cheapest amount of crude oil from Russia at below market rates and India gets nothing from Germany other than a one time deal and the profits will be lower than the continuous benefit that we get from below the market price of oil we get.

So you do not have b@lls & expect others to do it?

No need to come under Germany's pressure & why should we help Ukraine in war we have not given any weapons to Russia so no question arises giving it to Ukraine who had voted against India for sanctions after nuclear testing yes if any help to be given it should be medical or humatarian help only

It is time to repay Germans in the same coin. Tell the Germans that we are concerned with Russian soldiers human rights, so we won't sell you ammunition just like Germany refused to sell rifles to Maharashtra govt citing human rights violation.
