In all humility, I want to make two points about this stupudity.

First the EULA would still apply to all buyers due to the GE engine. So those getting tired of strict EULAs need to sit this one out.

Second all this non sense aboutso many nations being interested. All this is useless because HAL cant follow timelines. The combined Indian order itself is over 180 jets. Even assuming GE keeps its promise 20 engines per year and HAL suddenly becoming the most professional manufacture in the world, just the Indian delivery will take 9 years. Add the usual tardiness of HAL and it is more likely 12 years. So where it leave these interested nations??
 
Tejas-1A should only replace Mig-21s (205) numbers ! twin engine Tejas-1B (126+) should fill the void due to retirement of Mig-23 powered by Kaveri 80+ KN engines) ! 205+ Tejas-II should replace Mig-27s & AMCA-I should replace Mig-29s !
