Adani Defence Set to Become Development cum Production Partner (DcPP) for DRDO's RudraM-II Missile Program

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has recently achieved a major breakthrough with the successful flight-testing of the RudraM-II air-to-surface missile, further solidifying India's indigenous defence capabilities.

This new missile system, designed to take out enemy assets like SAM sites, radars, and air defence systems, features numerous advanced technologies developed by DRDO laboratories.

In an exciting development, Adani Defence appears to have been selected as the Development cum Production Partner (DcPP) for the RudraM-II program, according to company documents.

This move signals a deepening of Adani Defence's involvement in India's defence sector. The company's prior designation as the DcPP for the RudraM-I Anti-radiation missiles further highlights its expertise in missile technology.

The collaboration between DRDO and Adani Defence is anticipated to speed up the development and production of the RudraM-II missile system, strengthening India's defence capabilities and reducing reliance on foreign imports.

i dont have any problem i expect them to contribute with Innovation & taking responsibility in Design /developing Morning it was WhAP ToT mfg by 3 pvt players they should move on from Screw driver to own product design development & production & some people expect this Pvt players will develop Aero-Engine Expectations are very high ............??? Even South Korea & Turkey Cant develop its own Aero-Engine after doing Screw Driver work

We need 200 mk1a and 200 mk2

So 400 Tejas..

Full delivery in 7/8 years...

HAL has made improved version from tot of tejas mk1 to tejas mk1a. It has self designed, developed, produced ALH, Rudra, LCH & LUH helicopters. It has also self designed & developed PTAE-7 and HTSE-1200 engines. Also numerous trainers are designed developed & produced by HAL like Kiran, Deepak, HT-2, HTT-40 etc. They are also producing quality components for ISRO & Boeing. There are numerous other achievements also.

FAB cannot be used on SAMs for sure. you need to get within 100km at high speeds from a fighter, at which point you are in the SAM's range

Shaheed's vulnerability exposed by Israel. It can be used but lower success rate.

Pralay is overkill - 500kg warhead on SAM is too much

This is very good news. We need a reliable company who can manufacture the missile on a large scale, very quickly, good quality, no defects or faults and delivered on time. We should also increase our exports of these type of missiles to countries that use Russian jets as integrating them together will be much easier.

Business is done for earning money. Not for charity. If a particular business promises ROI , then everything will fall in place.
Probably only Indians have problem with entrepreneurs and Industrialists making money.

Sir, in order to bomb radar installations, one ideally needs either anti-radiation missiles such as the RudraM, or you need weapon-locating radars and normal munitions plus a lot of luck.

That said, I'd say the way here would be to wipe out radar installations using ARMs, and then send in mass strikes using cheap missiles and drones to knock out an enemy airfield.

500kg pralay warhead with 10M CEP will destroy them in 1 go...

Sir, that is because they are also able to detect the S400 systems using weapon locating radar systems.

As I mentioned, there are two broad options: WLRs + Cruise missiles or SRBMs or drones, or anti-radiation missiles from aircraft followed by drones or cruise missiles or SRBMs.
