Bangladesh Relaxes Visa Restrictions for Pakistan, Raising Concerns About Increased ISI Activity and Movement of Non-State Actors

Bangladesh's recent decision to ease visa restrictions for Pakistani citizens, particularly by removing the requirement for security clearance, has raised concerns among regional security analysts.

While this move appears to signal a thaw in relations between the two countries, it has also sparked anxieties about potential implications for regional security and stability.

The elimination of the security clearance requirement suggests a growing level of trust and cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan. It could facilitate increased people-to-people contact, trade, and investment.

However, it also raises questions about the potential for deeper security and intelligence cooperation, with some experts speculating that this move could facilitate the exchange of military advisors and intelligence operatives between the two nations.

Of particular concern is the potential for an increased presence of Pakistani non-state actors in Bangladesh, particularly those with expertise in unconventional warfare and intelligence gathering.

This development could have significant implications for India, which shares a long border with Bangladesh and has historically been wary of Pakistani influence in the region.

Bangladesh, a country with a history of political instability and internal security challenges, may be seeking to bolster its capabilities in dealing with various asymmetric threats. However, this strategic shift carries significant risks. Increased cooperation with Pakistan could strain relations with India, a crucial neighbor and economic partner.

While the relaxation of visa restrictions might offer some benefits in terms of trade and cultural exchange, it is crucial for Bangladesh to carefully consider the potential security implications. The possibility of increased ISI activity and the movement of non-state actors could destabilize the region and pose challenges for both Bangladesh and its neighbors.

Bangladeesh will also go down the drain, same as pakistan.
India is in the worst possible neigbourhood in the world.

This the problem when u trust a back biting snake. Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia all are united by a common factor of religion and when push comes to shove they will always tend to unite against their common enemy Hindus. This is not about spreading hate but a mere fact.

Alongside possible ISI deployment in Bangladesh, Chinese security companies (possible PLA cronies in disguise) are putting boots on the ground in the Myanmar. Some of them may be stationed in Rakhine stat where China is building ports. This is very serious concern for us.

India is in deep trouble, and the fault lie totally with the current and all previous Indian governments who stupidly thought and still think that Bangladesh is different from Pakistan. It is NOT! They are Muslims and the 1971 war is a dim and distant memory for the vast majority of Bangladeshi. In fact they now see Pakistan as an ally. Also, the situation is not helped when India is blessed with Muslim appeasers like the INDIA block.

It is time to wake up and smell the coffee. Push out all illegal Muslim residents in India, including people like sheikh hassina. And strangle Bangladesh economically to the point that it is never a threat to India.

Absolutely right. The generations of Bangladesh is long finished. In 50 years all those memories have faded or those persons have died.

Indian security agencies failed again and again. Pakistan planned topple of Hasina government for years and Indian Agencies kept sleeping. While India's scientists die mysteriously and Moulvis in Pakistan and Bangladesh roam scot free yelling anti India propaganda. Why our intelligence failed to eliminate them ? Those mullas installed by ISI have United Bengladesi generations over islam.

India must act aggressively against Bangladesh or else north east is in challenging situation with Pakistan Bangladesh and China all over North East.

India agencies stop sleeping. Wake up. India Bangladesh border is already LOC now.
  1. either divide Bangladesh
  2. or create artificial floods and earthquakes and destroy Bangladesh to the point of no return

Ya, we aren't prepared for 2-front war, and here 3rd front is also getting activated.

Exactly, one possible solution I can see. Use of proxy, non-state actors.
Use Mayamaar to handle Bangladesh and Afganistan to handle Pakistan. And we should solely be focusing on China.

Pakistan wants India kept busy on the eastern border and not on the western border, since PoK/Balochistan has become a big problem for them. They do not want IA to walk in PoK where it will be welcomed by the locals.

Having the same blood and the same DNA means nothing. Pakistan/Bangladesh prove this. The ideology is what counts. They have the ideology of dominance by cruelty. India has the ideology of Brotherhood through own needless sacrifice.

I think it has more evolving features. Bangladesh's decision would have economic ramifications. In long run these things will certainly affect the Bangladesh to revisit it's decision vis a vis India.

OK then Let India spread the hands a lil bit. Just a simple handshake with arakhan and one more handshake other sides

In fact my eyebrows are raised reading the news that Pak 2.0's act of removing security clearance requirements for Pak 1.0 has raised eyebrows of the analysts.

If that's true, they're not fit to be called analysts.

Even a Kuppan and/or Suppan who casually observes Bangla will tell that it's transforming into Pak 2.0, following the footsteps of its master Pak 1.0 religiously. The so-called student protests were just a camouflage by those fundamentalists to dethorn democracy and bring in wahabism, with help from its master and the West.

Eventually, both Pak 1.0 and Pak 2.0 will become the hitmen and greyhound of China. Just like Pak 1.0, Pak 2.0 will also be equipped with advanced Chinese weaponry and India will have to deal with two Pak-s.

EARLIER INDIA REALIZES, COMES TO TERMS WITH THIS FACT AND PREPARES ITSELF, THE BETTER.

In fact, I've another suspicion that, creating a Pak 2.0 will force India to buy more and more and more weapons from the West and hence the "Atmanirbhar" must be slowed or even discontinued. So, this may be the part of a large plan/conspiracy.

Just think about Ms.Hasina's accusation that a bigger Western power is behind the so called 'student protest'.

Now Pakistani terrorists with the help of Bangladeshi terrorists can enter India and create havoc. India's BSF needs to be alert. Also you can not believe Bangladeshi mad and rickshaw pullers. It is better to hire local people for your daily work.
