Chabahar port: US grants India 6-month waiver from sanctions

The US has granted India six months’ waiver from American sanctions on the Chabahar port project, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also said that India’s talks with the US for a trade deal are continuing. At a media briefing, he said India is studying the implications of the recent US sanctions on Russian oil companies.

“We are studying the implications of the recent US sanctions on Russian oil companies. Our decisions naturally take into account the evolving dynamics of the global market,” he said.

“Our position on the larger question of energy sourcing is well known. In this endeavour, we are guided by the imperative to secure affordable energy from diverse sources to meet the energy security needs of our 1.4 billion people,” Jaiswal added.

Why does India care what the US does or says? The Indian government acts like a US bitch. Its embarrassing. The Indian babus and billionaires only care about themselves and net worth. They don't care about India. They will talk the talk but at the end of the day, they will get on their knees and do whatever Trump asks.

The leaders of India don't even care that the entire country is a garbage dump. They will never pick-up garbage on the street or even help their neighbor. The rich feel more at home in New York than New Delhi. All their kids are American citizens.
