DRDO's Zorawar Tank Successfully Test-Fires the Nag Mk-II ATGM with Astonishing Accuracy

India is constantly working to strengthen its military capabilities. In light of this, the Zorawar tank, developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), demonstrated its prowess with the Nag Mark-II missile. The special thing is that this test of the Nag missile with the Zorawar tank was successful. The range and accuracy of the target during the test is astonishing. The precise strike of the Nag missile from the Zorawar tank is sure to leave the enemy stunned.

Following Operation Sindoor, India is on high alert to enhance its military strength. Its focus is on indigenous weapons, with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) playing a key role in this effort. On Friday, the Zoravar light tank, manufactured by DRDO and Larsen & Toubro, successfully test-fired the anti-tank guided missile (Nag Mark II).

A DRDO official stated that the test of the Zoravar tank and the Nag missile was completely successful. During the test, all factors including range, speed in attack mode, and precision strike on the target were taken into account. DRDO has also released a video of the test. The Zoravar tank is the first indigenous light tank developed by DRDO. Following the successful test, it will be handed over to the Army.

MBTs have proven to be totally useless in Ukraine Russia conflict in opening days due to logistics and support problems like fuel and unable to negotiate difficult terrains in large numbers , some 2000 plus MBTs got destroyed just like that without firing 1 shell . So China is a fast learner like us and it's light tanks are there in plenty in mountains so we can reduce the Nag ATGMs war head from MBT killing to light tanks damage as damage is also enough to abandon vehicles in mountains due to terrain in lieu of extended range for Nag missile along with anti infantry fragmentation warhead to cover large area with sharpnel. Idea is to cause some injury or damage that should dislodged infantry from dug in mountain and rock positions firing Man portable anti tank missiles from ranges as far as 8 km like TOW .so problem is not only enemy Armour , or personal or drones or helicopters in mountains but multiple so effective use of such advanced tank is to be done as head on WW2 type warfare is now over for tanks .That gun also should be able to fire lighter shells for longer distance as destruction of MBTs is important but damage is also good enough in such tough terrain where all or non law don't apply. Basic idea is enough damage, longer ranges and smarter surveillance and optics are good enough to survive another day , while sending the enemy for repairs or treatment of injury to personnel.
