After Successful BrahMos Integration, Su-30MKI All-Set for Further Indigenisation with Indian Avionics Through 2030

The Russian Sukhoi Su-30 fighter aircraft has been modified over 100 times by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the integration of India's flagship supersonic missile, BrahMos, earlier, is the hallmark of the successful additions, customisations and efforts towards indigenization of the formidable aircraft platform, as per HAL's chief executive officer (CEO), Saket Chaturvedi on Monday while speaking at a book launch event at the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) — a unit of Munitions India Ltd, as reported by the Times of India.

He further commended, praised and attributed all of it to transfer-of-technology (TOT) and source codes sharing by Russia and the Sukhoi Design Bureau, which, in turn, made it all possible.

Chaturvedi further elaborated that there are plans to completely indigenise the avionics systems of India's Su-30 fleet going forward. It is expected to be completed within the next 4 to 5 years, which will take the level of indigenization of the Su-30s to nearly 75% of the fighter plane would be indigenised.

He also added that a MiG-21 phasing-out ceremony will be conducted at a grand, upcoming event to be held on September 26 2025 and the in-service fleet of IAF's MiG-29s would continue to be operational with the IAF and aboard the Navy's aircraft carriers, going forward...

Mig 35 will be offered at throw away cost but is probably a redundant as we already have SU 30 MKI with upgradation to for air superiority. However, Mig35 is lighter and comes at a much lesser cost with TOT source code R37M etcetc.and may even be considered for using KDE on experimental basis as it is a twin engine plane. But Euro fighter is much costlier than Mig35 and also stands in the way of Rafael 5 in future. Only advantage is the offer of EJ 200 engine. IAF and GOI have to weigh the pros and cons and decide in the interest of the country as they are competent enough to decide. At the moment SU 57 with TOT source code R37M and possible local production seems to be the best choice provided our Viruoaksha AESA is accepted.

Why eurofighter & mig 35 bro ??...IAF already operating Rafale & mig 29 in that category....so there is no need for Eurofighter & mig 35

The planes I recommended keeping various factors like due to engine enhanced with my Single Crystal Blade and 4D, 5D, 8D, 9 D and 11D Tech to Mach 24 Speed. These planes have suitable engines for such technology addition. The RCS is already low and will be invisible with 2x RAM Coatings and 100% ToT will be given. Moreover Empty Eurofighter but with Pirate IRST/FLIR will be around 700 Crore Su 57 350 Crore and 150 Crore for Mig 35. Mig 29 ki production band ho chuki Mig 35 replaced it. Pirate IRST or Flir will be excellent addition to avionics. Rest 400 Half or Empty USA F18E planes and 100 Empty French Rafaele planes for 650 Crore each. For 2200 Planes averaging 400 crore per plane It will be 8.8 Lac Crore for 2200 planes 400 crore for each plane with engine ToT. Radar & Avionics will be Indian. Even Hawk AJT can be purchased as able defender enhanced with Indian Israel Avionics my told material science based AESA Radar and my 8D Technology in saffron M 88-3 Engine. It will be able to Supercruise with atleast atleast Mach 15 Speed but having almost .001 to .0001 RCS after my given 2x RAM Coatings and 88000 Feet Service Ceiling height.
