Metal cutting expected soon
Arey chup-chaap metal kaato na yaaron!
Har baat par Kejriwal ki tareh kaam se pahle prachaar karna zaroori hai?

We never heard AVIC announce on Global Times before the prototype of their 5th gen aircraft was getting ready, that the Chinese are going to cut metal for J-20 soon. Ditto for the Koreans and the Turks.

Grow up. Let your actions speak for you.

3 years back I read metal cutting for LCA MK2 begun and till now nothing is known....and amca metal cutting expected soon means metal cutting will happen after 3 years and then who knows if we can see the prototype in this lifetime or not...

Turkish developed and future Pakistani 5th generation fighter TAI TF KAAN conducted its maiden flight on 21 February 2024.
So what. It was just a shell. The subsystems still need to be developed by them. We have already developed many of the subsystems as they are the same for tejas mk2 and tedbf. Also, we have decades of experience developing indigenous fighters. This is turkey's first indigenous fighter.

The main thing is we have already developed all the individual components, and sub systems, Avionics, radar and other important things, we still have a few imported items like refuelling probes, ejection seat (license make them ) GE F414 (licence make them), all they have to do is to create a shell with composites and Titanium in the shape of AMCA and install all these avionics, components and subsystem and test them all for a million times especially the radar reflections, heat signatures and things like that.

So they will wait 6 month for metal cutting, is there any muhurt ceremony like halwa before budget. 😂

Bhai, ye hr baat par press conference nahi karte, but media waale har hafte inse updates maangte hain jaake, kyonki mere or tumhare jaise logon ko updates chahiye.

Will Pakistan get KAAN?
We don't know for sure how successful the Turkish program turns out eventually. There is still an immense amount of work before it becomes operational. I must say however that the Turkish have managed their program far better than India. Whether Pakistan eventually acquires the KAAN remains to be seem, the engjnes, avionics and many sub-systems will have to be imported and might come with restrictions.

Bad omen already for AMCA as it's chota Chetan LCA crashed today. Only saving grace being pilot ejected safely. Now who will buy this aircraft and AMCA is just another example.

BTW this LCA accident happens after it participated in live fire practice. Imagine when there is real war. Looks like they will drop like flies when confronted by a better fighter.

There's been a crash with the F35, F16, Rafale and others around the world. People don't stop buying them and we still don't know the exact cause of it. There was some talk that there was an engine issue but more will be revealed in time.

So although the project got official sanction just recently there was some preparation in the background with sourcing the materials and manufacturing the metal that would be needed which seems like some common sense still exists with HAL. Now they just have to manufacture all of the parts and equipment along with the technology as quick as possible so that they can catch up with the delays.

Very doubtful as most of the technology and advanced equipment is supplied by the USA and NATO allies who will definitely veto Turkey from selling their jet to Pakistan. The only reason why Turkey have managed to quickly develop their jet is because of a lot of help from the USA and NATO. We are developing the AMCA entirely by ourselves.
